===== Charlotte de Witte ====== //Belgian techno artist known for raw minimalism and commanding international festival stages.// ===== 🧠 Biography ===== Charlotte de Witte (born 21 July 1992 in Ghent, Belgium) is a DJ and producer celebrated for her stripped-back, acid-infused brand of techno. She began DJing in 2010 under the alias "Raving George," winning a Studio Brussel contest that led to her debut at Tomorrowland. In 2015, she adopted her real name and shifted stylistically toward hypnotic minimal techno. Her breakthrough EP Weltschmerz (Turbo Recordings) solidified her sound. She’s performed at major festivals including Junction 2, Awakenings, Printworks, Boiler Room, and Ultra Miami. Since 2019, she’s regularly appeared in DJ Mag’s Top 100, peaking at #14 in 2022. In 2019, de Witte founded KNTXT, a label that’s released music by Chris Liebing, Monoloc, and Alignment. In 2022, she and partner Enrico Sangiuliano released a remix of “The Age of Love,” which topped Beatport’s techno chart and earned gold certification. In 2024, she launched a second imprint, Époque, focused on reworking iconic Belgian tracks. That year she opened a pop-up KNTXT Store in Brussels, and in 2025 drew 12,500 fans to a free outdoor set at Stadshal Ghent. ===== 🎧 Notable Releases ===== * 2015 - Weltschmerz - [Turbo Recordings] * 2017 - Brussels EP - [Novamute] * 2018 - Heart of Mine EP - [Suara] * 2018 - The Healer EP - [Arts] * 2021 - The Age of Love (Remix) - [Diki Records] (with Enrico Sangiuliano) * 2023 - Apollo EP - [KNTXT] * 2024 - Époque Vol. 1 - [Époque] ===== 🌍 Gigs & Festivals Played ===== * Awakenings Festival (Netherlands) * Tomorrowland (Belgium) * Boiler Room (London) * Printworks (UK) * Junction 2 Festival (UK) * DGTL (Amsterdam) * Ultra Miami – KNTXT Stage * Exit Festival (Serbia) * Stadshal Ghent (2025) ===== 📰 News & Media Links ===== * DJ Mag Top 100 Rankings * Charlotte de Witte Launches Époque – Mixmag, 2024 * “Age of Love” Remix Tops Techno Charts – Beatport, 2021 * KNTXT Store Opens in Brussels – Resident Advisor, 2024 ===== 🗒️ Notes ===== De Witte is married to techno producer Enrico Sangiuliano and continues to lead KNTXT and Époque as curator and performer. ===== 🔗 Links to external sites or press kits ===== * SoundCloud * Beatport * Spotify * Bandcamp * Instagram * Facebook * Official Website * KNTXT Label * Époque Label
