Darksome Notes is the alias of Russian producer **Maxim Moskalenko**, based in the coastal town of **Gelendzhik**. Active in the techno scene since 2009, he debuted with the release *Small Penny* in 2010, which marked the beginning of a steady output of dark minimal techno productions. His style is rooted in deep, hypnotic grooves and stripped-back rhythmic structures, often leaning toward the darker edges of minimal techno.
