LEKTRK is the sonic alias of London-born, Melbourne-based producer and DJ Mike Clark. With a distinctive style that seamlessly blends dark techno, bush prog, psy-tech, and progressive house, LEKTRK has carved out a significant presence in the global underground electronic music scene.

LEKTRK is known for his frisson-inducing sets and emotionally resonant productions that fuse hypnotic grooves, acid-drenched atmospheres, and pulsating basslines. Soft-spoken offstage but commanding behind the decks, his sound pays homage to early 2000s techno while fearlessly exploring deeper, psychedelic territory.

🎶 His journey began in London and evolved through Melbourne’s underground, with early experiments in minimal techno as part of the Liminalism project. After returning to Australia, he launched LEKTRK in 2015, debuting with the tech house track “Storm” in 2018. A breakthrough came with “Bump” on Oliver Huntemann’s Senso Sounds in 2022, earning global support and solidifying his sonic identity.

🧪 LEKTRK’s style blends dark techno, bush prog, and progressive house, often walking the line between slick tech and outdoor psychedelia. His tracks are designed for both warehouse intensity and sunrise transcendence, with harmonic mixing and emotional clarity at the core of his DJ sets.

📻 from 2021 to 2024 he hosted *The LEKTRONIC Show* on Kiss FM Australia, a monthly showcase of new releases, unreleased collaborations, and guest mixes from local and international artists. His influences include Victor Ruiz, Tim Taste, Maxxim Dark, Tomchilla, Carbon, and Teenage Mutants.

🧠 A prolific producer, LEKTRK has released on respected labels including Senso Sounds, Shadow Wulf, Subios, Soupherb, Frisson, Mavic Music, and Equate Recordings. His catalog spans solo EPs, remixes, and compilation features, with a focus on analog warmth, rhythmic storytelling, and underground integrity.
