Matt Cutler, known as Lone, grew up in Nottingham and began releasing music in 2007 on Paper Recordings[^15]. His debut album Everything Is Changing Colour (2008) on R&S Records blended lush ambient textures with breakbeat rhythms, earning widespread praise[^16]. His 2012 release Emerald Fantasy Tracks solidified his reputation for melodic, pastoral electronic music, followed by Galaxy Garden in 2014, which critics hailed for its vibrant production[^17][^18].
