Charlotte de Witte (born 21 July 1992 in Ghent, Belgium) is a DJ and producer celebrated for her stripped-back, acid-infused brand of techno. She began DJing in 2010 under the alias “Raving George,” quickly gaining attention after winning a Studio Brussel contest that led to her debut at Tomorrowland. In 2015, she adopted her real name and pivoted from electro house to darker, hypnotic techno.
Her breakthrough EP *Weltschmerz* (Turbo Recordings) solidified her minimalist direction. De Witte has headlined major festivals including Junction 2, Awakenings, Printworks, and Boiler Room, and she’s been featured in DJ Mag’s Top 100 poll since 2019.
She launched her imprint KNTXT in 2019, releasing artists such as Chris Liebing and Monoloc. In 2022, her joint remix of “The Age of Love” with partner Enrico Sangiuliano earned gold status and topped Beatport’s techno chart.
In 2024, de Witte founded Époque, a new label reviving Belgian classics through modern remixes, and opened a pop-up KNTXT Store in Brussels. In 2025, she performed a free open-air set in Ghent for 12,500 fans, affirming her status as a leading figure in global techno.
